Crail Airfield was most recently used for a blue screen shoot for BBC programme "Weird Science."

The circular road running adjacent to the sea was used in the Robert Duval feature film "Road To Glory".

The runways were used in the Alan Rickman film "A Winter's Guest".

The site has also been used by STV, BBC, Granada and Bravo television.
