DRAG & DRIFT THRASH 1st NOVEMBER

DRAG & DRIFT THRASH – Sunday 1st November
GATES OPEN: 9am
1/4 MILE/OVAL START/RUNS FROM: 10am – 4pm
There is NO requirement for DRIVERS/ATTENDEES to pre-register for this event.

However, it is ESSENTIAL you read and adhere to the procedures below.
ENTRY: We will be taking your name, telephone number and your temperature at the entry gate.
PASSENGER RESTRICTIONS APPLY:
Attendees/Drivers taking part can have “1” Passenger as long as they are from the same Household/Partner or part of their Support/Extended Bubble/Work Bubble. Children under 12yrs are permitted. In addition to a Passenger a Mechanic/Pit Crew Member can attend – They can arrive with the Driver if they are part of their “Bubble”, if this cannot be achieved then please follow the guidelines as set out here: https://www.transport.gov.scot/coronavirus-covid-19/transport-transition-plan/advice-on-how-to-travel-safely/ You will be asked what you are there to take part in (1/4 Mile/Drift Oval/Visit) This way, it allows us to still manage and adhere to Operating Restrictions. You will be given the Covid Operational Procedures in place.
DRIVE IN VISITORS – can attend (numbers will be controlled) and again, as above 1 passenger is permitted but this must adhere to the procedures stated above as per Government Guidelines. Your Name, Mobile Number and Temperature will be taken at the Entry Gate.
Whilst face coverings are not mandatory outside we request you to bring one/have one/wear one.

Do NOT ATTEND/ENTER if you have/have been in close contact with anyone known to have Coronavirus or personally have any symptoms associated with Coronavirus.
If you develop symptoms whilst onsite or feel unwell – please leave immediately and call 111 – if you cannot leave the site due to feeling unwell please advise a Marshal/First Aid Ambulance onsite (Social distance MUST be adhered to and stay in your car)

We have taken a number of steps to give both our staff/marshals and customers comfort that the environment is adhering to Guidelines currently in place which includes but not limited to: Evident new signage – Social distancing/Wash your hands/Hygiene – Sanitizer Gel/Sanitizer Surface Wipes/Sanitizer Sprays/Facilities Usage Signage/Screen at Sign On Cabin/PPE for Staff/Marshals. Please respect the procedures in place and other attendees. Please take responsibility for washing your hands regularly and carrying/using hand sanitizer – we have provided sanitizer also in the wash facilities/Black Box. Anyone who does not adhere and respect others will be asked to leave immediately without any repercussion.

Here are the classes and trophies for Sunday’s event!

9 Track Awards & 6 Show Awards!!
There will be shoot-outs for the following categories…- Top 4 cars in each of the RWD/FWD/AWD classes. – Top 2 cars in the 1600cc, 2000cc and Diesel classes.
PLEASE NOTE: Cut off for the shoot-outs will be made at 2pm. Shoot-outs will commence at 3pm. PLEASE CHECK AFTER 2pm if you are in the shoot-outs and listen for announcements…if you are in the shoot out, make your way to the holding area just before 3pm. If you are not there in time you may forfeit your place.

We request that you please wear a face covering/mask everywhere on site as a precaution. Also, please refer to previous posts for all the Covid rules and regulations. Gates open 8.15am, Track Open 10am – 4pmWeather looks DRY for the weekend

DRIVE IN SPECTATOR UPDATE

We are permitting a VERY LIMITED number of DRIVE IN Spectators. However you MUST PRE-REGISTER by messaging the FB Page or emailing enquiries@crailraceway.co.uk.You will be advised of the restrictions in place for attending and the procedures onsite.You will only be permitted 1 Passenger and they must be from the Same Household/Partner/Extended Bubble. Children under 12yrs are permitted.STRICTLY NO-ONE will get walk in or drive in access on the day, it is a closed door event with pre-registration ONLY!The deadline for this pre-registration is Wednesday 13th October 5pm or sooner should the limit be reached before then. We will advise on our FB Page should the limit be reached ahead of the deadline

DRIFT OVAL UPDATE: As per the Previous Event – Drift Oval Drivers DO NOT need to Pre-Register. However, please see Procedures/Restrictions Below:-

Your Name, Mobile Number and Temperature will be taken on arrival- Drivers/Attendees will also be signing on just past the Entry Gate at this event to avoid going over to the 1/4 Mile area.

Attendees/Drivers taking part can have a Passenger as long as they are from the same Household/Partner or part of their Support/Extended Bubble. Children under 12yrs are permitted.

Attendee’s/Driver’s Passenger do not have to be a passenger on the Track/Oval. Any passenger in the car will also have their temperature taken.

Attendees/Drivers on the Drift Oval can, in addition to a passenger as above have a Mechanic/Pit Member attend – They can arrive with them if they are part of their “Bubble”, if this cannot be achieved then please follow the guidelines as set out here: https://www.transport.gov.scot/…/advice-on-how-to…

Next up we have we have Who’s the Daddy! It’s the final big shootout for prizes of the season. Once again, this event is sponsored, this time by Falkland Performance and Peregrine Performance – huge thanks to them both and no doubt there will be some big powered and amazing cars in attendance.

PLEASE NOTE: – Full details are below but at this time Pre-Registration is open for the following ONLY:1/4 Mile Drivers/Club Stand/Top 5 Show N Shine. We are NOT taking Pre-Registration for anything else at this time – we will be posting additional info so please keep an eye out on this Page for updates. This will relate to Drift Oval and Spectators, and Classes/Trophy Information . PLEASE DO NOT MESSAGE the page at this time. Your patience and support is appreciated.

Every person entering the site on the day will have their name and number checked against Pre-Registration for Track & Trace purposes. Every person’s temperature will also be taken with a Forehead (No Contact) Thermometer. You should wear a face mask/covering and Socially Distance AT ALL TIMES whilst onsite. ALL OF THE ABOVE IS SUBJECT TO ANY UPDATES/CHANGES IN GOVERNMENT GUIDANCE.

TRACK LIVE: 10am until 3pm

Given the nature of this day – To take part, you do not need to pre-register.  HOWEVER, please see below restrictions in place:

NO SPECTATORS PERMITTED – No Drive In or Walk In

  • On Arrival your Name, Mobile Number and Temperature will be taken.
  • Attendees/Drivers taking part can have a Passenger as long as they are from the same Household/Partner or part of their Support/Extended Bubble.  Children under 12yrs are permitted.  Attendee’s/Driver’s Passenger do not have to be a passenger on the Track/Oval. Any passenger in the car will also have their temperature taken.
  • Helmets MUST be worn on the Open Track & Drift Oval by both Drivers and any Passengers
  • Passengers will also need to sign on if they are going to be a passenger on the Track/Oval and also wear a Helmet
  • You should wear face masks/covering and Socially Distance AT ALL TIMES whilst on site. The only exceptions are if you are in your own car, van or wearing a helmet.
  • There is NO 1/4 Mile action at this event.

Signage is evident onsite and we ask that each person please take responsibility for knowing the current Government Guidelines, washing their hands regularly and carrying & using their own hand sanitizer/wipes – we have provided sanitizer in the wash facilities/Sign On area.
