DRAG STRIP AND DRIFT OVAL GENERAL RULES
Please respect the local Village and Residents
There may be members of the public wandering within the site, including children, please keep your speed down in the public areas.
The grass areas are normally very busy and can be slippery, please keep speed to walking pace within these areas.
Broken glass can be very dangerous therefore no glass bottles on site. If found these will be confiscated.
These are for your protection; please ensure you stay behind them.
Please obey any instructions given to you by the Marshalls, they are onsite to ensure your safety and enjoyment. They doe this to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
PARTICIPANT RULES
All drivers & passengers must sign the disclaimer before going on any of the tracks.
No person below the age of 8 is allowed on the track as a passenger or driver.
A disclaimer must be signed by a Parent/Guardian for any child under 16 who wishes to take part. Helmets MUST be worn by any children on track, and they must be suitably restrained in the vehicle.
Please ensure that you and any passenger you are carrying have a suitably adjusted seat belt on. Harnesses MUST be fully tightened. Children MUST have a suitable booster seat if required.
Helmets are compulsory for on the drag strip for any soft top vehicles and vehicles whose terminal velocity is 110mp or greater. We strongly recommend that all users hear helmets.
Helmets are compulsory for all drivers and passengers on the drift oval. A roll cage / bar is required for any soft top car on the Drift Oval or Open Track.
Cars must be fitted with at least one silencer. The oval will be wetted throughout the day.
Under no circumstances is it permitted to take passengers in the rear seats of any vehicle.
All bikers must wear a suitable helmet and leathers / Kevlar when taking part, we also suggest that a steering damper is fitted.
Please ensure that all loose items within your vehicle are secured before taking to the track.
The speed limit on the return road is 10mph; please ensure you obey this speed limit.
Do NOT stop on the return road for any reason other than you have broken down. If you just need to check something, please wait until the paddock.
